#013 – Horror Project Wrap Up
November 9, 2009
Hello all.
That’s it for the Horror Project, I thought I would wrap everything up in a post with links to each of the entries. I hope you all enjoy!
That’s it for now, I am currently working on the introduction to the next project. I hope everyone is having a nice night.

I noticed Pyscho is the oldest film on your list. What do you think of the Val Lewton RKO horror cycle? I’m currently working my way through the DVD box set and enjoying it so far. Cat People especially was very effective, creating a real sense of dread about what’s real and what’s only in the characters’ minds.

I will check some of those out. I know very little to nothing about horror, I sort of dismissed the genre at a young age and am now paying for it. I added Cat People/ Curse of the Cat People to my Netflix queue due to your recommendation. Thank you!

If we’d seen everything, what would there be to look forward to in life?
Don’t ask me about the famous films of the ’70s btw…
Horror is probably my least watched genre also. I think that’s largely because splatter and slasher films were the big thing when I was getting into movies (ie Friday the 13th ad infinitum) and they give the whole genre a bad name. When I’ve been coaxed into watching one of the major films I’ve always enjoyed it, or at least appreciated the filmmaking!
